Capitol Bingo in St Austell has become the premier place for bingo in the south of Cornwall. It has amazing in-house cash prizes and link games (where games are played across multiple venues for larger prizes) are played every session.
There’s also the nightly National games where – if the balls drop kindly for you – you could be walking back home to your bingo bungalow with £10,000 in your pocket.
Capitol Bingo is open to registered players only, but registration is free. You can even register online and pick up your registration card when you turn up at the club. The club does have a website, but it is fairly archaic. If you want to keep in touch with the deals available here it’s better you keep tabs on their Facebook page.
There are plenty of beneficial deals available at Capital Bingo at St Austell, but perhaps the best deal of all (at the time of writing, anyhow) is the Tuesday afternoon offer of a free lunch at the facility, plus a dozen games of bingo for only £1.80.
Although the Capitol Bingo club is open from 9am in the morning the bingo only runs for two sessions – one at 130pm and the other at 7pm. You are free to use the other facilities at the club during periods when there is no actual bingo action.
The Capitol Bingo club is situated on a residential road in St Austell, and has absolutely no parking. It is only a short walk from the more built-up areas of the town, and is half an hour from the train station.
As mentioned, the doors are opened at this bingo venue at 9am each morning. Doors remain open until ten o’clock each evening except for on Fridays where you can get an extra hour of bingo entertainment in.
There are two ways to play bingo here – the traditional way with paper tickets or the techy way with special tablets. You can play 80-ball bingo here or, if you are a traditionalist – 90-ball bingo. Tickets are usually sold in sets of six.
There is food and beverage available here, but the site does not have a licensed bar so it’s a case of tea, coffee and hot chocolate only. Away from the bingo this site does have a small amusement arcade attached.
This is not the biggest bingo venue in the world, but it is one that’s incredibly popular. If you find yourself in Cornwall or in St Austell in particular, then why not seek out the Capitol Bingo club and get dabbing those all-important bingo tickets?
